I’m sure we can all agree that none of us got it all figured out at the beginning. The truth is, more often than not we have to fail quite a few times before we can get something right. And, that’s the beauty of life.

A classic example of this is our feature dog for today, named Ryker. He’s a German Shepherd, who’s quite a ball of energy, his zest is almost through the roof. Ryker is one of the dogs at the Double H Canine Training Academy undergoing the training to become a certified service dog. Being one may not be apt for every single dog out there, but hey, there is no harm in trying. Right?

Now, don’t get me wrong, Ryker is all for it. He tried his best to delight his trainer, but somehow, it doesn’t seem to add up. As a service dog, a strict sense of discipline is required due to the high demands and necessities of the job.

In one of his simulation exercises, he ended up munching on the wheelchair causing it to overturn. The next scenario was one involving tennis balls. This item is pretty standard paraphernalia that service dogs must get accustomed to. The moment he saw them, he went straight to chasing them leaving the pretend patient behind. Oh boy, one can only imagine the horror had these been in real-life situations.

Ryker is not cut for the job and would be better off being a fervent pet for a family. He sure must get credit though for his engaging personality and unceasing energy. Let’s hope it doesn’t take long before he could find a home and a master complementing to his winning personality.

Thanks to our friends over at Double H Training Academy for sharing with us this entertaining story. Watch the hilarious video below:

Every dog has a purpose 🙂. Clearly Ryker’s purpose is not to be a service dog. Check out this video documenting his good hearted attempt 😳. Disclaimer: This Training was attempted by trained professionals 😳do not try at home #jesus
