Arafa is a lovable blind dog who once roamed the streets without a home to call his own. Despite being in this situation, Arafa has an abundance of love to give. Ahmed Embaby, his best friend, can attest to this.
Ahmed volunteers at Furever Rescue Foster, an animal sanctuary in Cairo, Egypt, for dogs in need. Because of this role, Ahmed and Arafa met.
In the past, Arafa was a stray who lived alone on the streets, wandering wherever his feet took him in search of food and shelter. Unfortunately, Arafa is also blind, which exacerbates his situation.
Ahmed claims that Arafa was already blind when he was rescued. The dog was among the hundreds of animals they had spared. Now that Arafa is in their care, Ahmed constantly ensures that he has all he needs.
Since his arrival at the shelter, Arafa has built a close relationship with Ahmed. In fact, Ahmed is rarely separated from Arafa these days. Ahmed views the dog as his blind guardian, as it follows him around all day.
When Ahmed arrived at the shelter in the morning, he would instantly call Arafa’s name. The blind dog would always come running to greet him. Although Arafa’s environment is filled with darkness, his best friend’s voice seems to serve as a guiding light.
Ahmed stated that Arafa’s elation upon arrival at the shelter never ceases to amaze him. This demonstrates to Ahmed how extraordinary and unselfish a dog’s love can be. Despite the fact that there is no longer a solution for Arafa’s eyesight, Ahmed and the shelter staff have considerably restored the dog’s physical and emotional well-being.
Now that Arafa is doing so well, Ahmed is overjoyed to see their rescue dog recover. However, Ahmed stressed that the ultimate objective is to find him a permanent home.
