It’s not every day that you actually would hear a story of a dog flying in the sky. Well, it’s possible – just look at this Samoyed named Ouka who has paraglided over the scenic French mountain pass with his owner. And it’s evident that the pup is having the time of his life!
Ouka is flying free!
The flight of the three-year-old Samoyed had been documented on Instagram, and the clip went viral for all the right reasons. In the 29-second clip, you could see the dog tightly secured to Shams, his owner. At first glance, it would appear that Shams was riding Ouka. This set-up was reminiscent of the flight of Falkor and Atreyu in the 1984 film The Never-Ending Story.
Ouka and Shams were obviously enjoying themselves. The dog even looked completely calm as the wind rushed against his face. While Shams was filming the flight with an action camera, he patted Ouka from time to time.
