There’s something about the way a dog looks at you when it knows you’re leaving that just breaks your heart. You can tell that they’re not sure if they’ll ever see you again, and that must be a terrifying feeling for our beloved pets.
It’s even harder when it’s your dog, watching you pack your bags and seeing you put them in your car.
German Short Haired Pointer Walle and Golden Labrador Retriever Zazu felt the blues when they sensed dad was leaving. It didn’t help that mom wasn’t doing anything to stop him from leaving.
The dog owners were pretty touched about it. They could tell that their pets were anxious about the impending separation, so this dad did something to assure his pets somehow.
This dad was gonna go travel to Nepal for a few weeks, but he’s gonna come back. Unfortunately, the pets didn’t know this, and that explained their behavior.
When dog owners understand what was going on in their dogs’ heads, they can do something. To cheer them up, this dad walked up to his dogs and called each of them for a kiss goodbye.
It was a pretty heartwarming goodbye, and it looked like the pets felt a whole lot better.
So if you’re traveling and you see that your pets are feeling down, just remember that you can always help them them feel better.
In the end, we still have faith in humanity because of small gestures like this one. Walle and Zazu were somehow assured that their dad loves them, but we could only imagine how anxious they were.
This dog dad went off on an adventure for weeks but promised he’d come back. We’re not sure if these dogs understood, but thank goodness, mom’s still there to take care of them.
Don’t worry, Walle and Zazu, dad will be back before you know it!
