If there’s one thing every dog owner would wonder, it would probably be if our dogs understand us when we talk to them. Do they understand us when we tell them that it’s not yet time for dinner, or when we say to them how much we love them? Well, it almost always feels like they do!
And in this story of one baby girl and dog, it’s evident that both of them understood each other very well, even if no one knew what they were talking about.
One day, mom picked up her cellphone and started filming when she noticed Zoe, her baby daughter, and Pele, the family dog, were arguing with one another in a cute way. It was as if the baby was speaking a dog language or the dog was speaking in a baby’s language — either way, it’s super adorable and funny.
Apparently, the little baby girl doesn’t seem to be having a great day. And it turns out, neither is the dog having the best time of his life. He is sitting on the couch while listening attentively to his human sister throw a fit. As soon as little Zoe begins whining and fussing, Pele quickly responds with a bark.
If you listen carefully, you’ll notice that when Zoe lets out a little noise, Pele will try and mimic that same noise too. If the little girl lets out a bigger cry, you bet, the pup’s cries get longer and louder.
This video has garnered millions of views with people commenting that maybe Pele is just trying to comfort the infant. But whether the pup is really comforting the little girl or is totally arguing with her, this precious moment that was caught on camera is way too cute and funny not to share.
The two of them really make a cute pair, and it’s so adorable to watch how attentive and responsive they are to each other.
