Have you heard about two lovely dogs trying to find a permanent home and a family?
Meet Star and Denver. Their adventure had a rough start. They were neglected and thrown away with their mother and six other sibling puppies in the rural South. After traveling for about 1,900 miles, this family of dogs was processed in San Diego, California, under Helen Woodward Animal Center’s care.
The rescue team discovered that one puppy, Star, was blind and deaf. They knew that Star would require extra attention and guidance.

To their surprise, his brother, Denver, is always there for her. It’s good that Denver is protective of her sister and doesn’t leave her defenseless in the slightest degree.
In due time, the relationship between these two puppies became exemplary. They mess around like all the other puppies, but Star always follows Denver wherever he goes. Whether it’s time to eat or when strolling around.
Denver always cares for his sister; although he has no training, he does it all out of love for his sister.rottweiler, puppy, dog Denver and Star are partners. He’s always there for his sister, and Denver guides her where she should go. Besides being a brother, he is Star’s support, playmate, and confidante. Sometimes, he is away, but he always dashes back to her in times of need.
Denver and Star inspire other puppies, even people, by showing the importance of a family. While Star may have a disability, he shows that she can depend on her family.

Denver and Star might not start smoothly, but we all know they still hope and genuinely deserve a loving family who will adopt and care for them. A place where they can call home and live happily as a family.
